About us
A Chicagoland home buyer that explains its reasoning
Direct Offer Homes buys residential property across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. We work with homeowners who want a clear path forward rather than a listing, and we try to be useful even when the answer is that a listing suits them better.
What we do
We review a property, explain what it is worth to us and why, and let the homeowner decide. If an offer is accepted, the sale closes through a licensed title company with an attorney involved, which is standard practice in Illinois.
We are a real estate investment company, not a brokerage. We are not representing you in a transaction and we do not charge homeowners a commission for reviewing a property.
Why the local focus matters
Chicagoland housing is not one market. A brick bungalow on the northwest side, a 1970s split-level in Schaumburg and a century-old two-flat in Oak Park each carry different repair costs, tax bills and buyer expectations. Concentrating on this region is the only way to price those differences honestly.
How we work
- We show the reasoning behind an offer, including the comparable sales we used.
- We do not use expiring offers, countdown pressure or repeated follow-up calls.
- We tell homeowners when listing with an agent is likely to serve them better.
- We make no promises about fees, closing costs or timelines that we have not confirmed for that specific property.
